She was predeceased by: her parents, Dale Newhart and Bessie Newhart (Keck); her siblings, Kenneth Newhart, Bernard Newhart and Jeanette Swan; and her daughter Tricia Ann Smith.
She is survived by: her husband Hube Smith of Frankfort; her daughter Debbie Beckett (Allen) of Frankfort; her siblings, Jay Newhart of Frankfort and Peggy Hackerd of Upland, CA; and her grandson AJ Beckett of Lafayette. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and great great-nieces and nephews.
