He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Wessell and Veca Wessell (Camp); his son Billy Boothroyd, Jr.; and his pets, Angel, Riley and Diesel.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra "Sandy" Boothroyd; and his children, Brandan Wessel, Jessica Hackett (Wessel), Phil Wessel, Jr., Joey Boothroyd (Sheena) and Sebert Swimm (Vanessa). He is also survived by 19 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
