With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Phyllis I. Benefiel of Frankfort, Indiana, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Phyllis left this world on January 6, 2026 at the age of 93, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Lehr and Luella Mabel Tackett (Ross); her sons, Brian Benefiel and Charles "Chuck" Benefiel; her daughter-in-law Linda Benefiel; and her siblings, Francis, Wayne, Ivan, Bernice, Cleota, Wanda, Gayle, Darlene, Doris and Glenda.
She is survived by: her son Gerald "Garry" Benefiel (Beverly) of Daytona, FL; her brother Carroll Tackett (Martha) of Martinsville; her grandchildren, Chris, Courtney, Carey, Andrea and Michael Benefiel (Keshia Hurless); and her great grandchildren, Natalie, Ethan and Laura.
