He is survived by: his wife Kitty Jane Tunnell; his sons, Russell "RJ" Garrett (Cassie) of Frankfort and William Garrett of Frankfort; his sister Kathy Richards (Randall) of Connersville, IN; his brother-in-law Brett Tunnell (Amy); his friend John Bymaster; and his nieces, Amanda Richards (Steve) of Connersville, IN, Candora Stover (Brandon) of Florida and Jane Tunnell of Anderson, IN. He is also survived by several other nieces, nephews, 9 great-nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Pilgrim Holiness Church (1104 Rowe St, Frankfort, IN 46041).
