He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Ozias Barker and Virginia Mae Crabtree (Amich); his daughter Christiana Lynn Meyer; his siblings, Virginia Creasy, Sandra Evans and Virgil Joe Barker; and his stepbrother David Crabtree.
He is survived by: his wife Dawn Renee Griffis of Frankfort; his children, Jeffery Joseph Barker of Southern, CA, Alicia "Lisa" Denise Lynn (Eric) of Brownsburg and Erik Jason Barker; his stepbrothers, Larry Crabtree (Julia) of Frankfort, Steve Crabtree (Connie) of Wabash, Jerry Crabtree (Sharon) and Eddie Crabtree (Becky) of Frankfort; his grandchildren, Timothy Barker and Austen Arnold; and his close friends, Joe Gregor and John Phipps.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 23rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Goodwin Funeral Home (200 S Main St, Frankfort, IN 46041). A graveside service was held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Kilmore Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association; envelopes will be available.
