He was predeceased by: his parents, Archie Smith and Zorada Smith; his father-in-law Keith Wright; and his brother-in-law Larry Wright. He is survived by: his wife Kristie Smith (Wright); his sons, Michael Smith (Megan) and Nicholas Smith (Kara); his stepsons, Derek McCleary, Matthew McCleary and Sean McCleary (Brittany); his grandchildren, Zachary Smith, Justin Smith, Adele Smith, Alex Smith, Valor Smith, True Smith, Dane McCleary, Conor McCleary and Crew McCleary; his siblings, Jane Hill (Robert) and Mark Smith (Diane); his mother-in-law Jeannie Wright; and his siblings-in-law, Beth Andrews (Ed) and Ron Wright (Becky). He is also survived by many friends, fellow volunteers, and neighbors.
