He is survived by: his daughter Vicky Lynn Melton; his sister Jean Mason; and his cousin Cheryl Schoolcraft (Larry). He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, October 11th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Mount Olive Lutheran Church (5171 W Smokey Row Rd, Greenwood, IN 46143).
