She was predeceased by: her father Lester Carpenter; and her brother Gene Carpenter (Barbara). She is survived by: her children, Mike Smith (Karen) of Indianapolis and Lynn Moore (Brett) of Martinsville; her grandchildren, Eric Smith (Yana), Aimee Ferguson (Kyle), Brad Moore (Emily), Brent Moore (Mandy) and Brittany Ray (Brandon); and her siblings, Betty Carpenter, Sandy Manglitz (Mike) and Jim Carpenter (Pam).
