It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles D. Shrader of Franklin, Indiana, who passed away on October 29, 2021, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Joel A. Shrader and E. Bernadine Shrader. He is survived by: his wife Rita; his sons, Joel D. Shrader (Mardi), Matthew C. Shrader, Justin A. Hardwick (Leslie) and Josh K. Hardwick (Kirstyn); and his sisters, Billie Moffitt (Paul), Jackie Ward (Charles) and Debbie Coleman (Elmo). He is also survived by six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his honor to Main Street Hospice in Franklin, the Humane Societies of Johnson and Bartholomew Counties, and the Oncology Center at Johnson Memorial Hospital.
