He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Virgil, Loris Richards, Roselynn Adams and Robert Bright. He is survived by: his parents, Randy Bright and Susan Bright (Richards); his husband Brent Michael Beckner; his son Jacob Bright; his stepmother Rita Bright; his brother Jeff Bright (Michelle); his niece Addi Bright; his stepchildren, Jordan Beckner, Cameron Beckner (Bailey) and Nicholas Beckner; his grandson Judah Beckner; and his siblings-in-law, Marvin, Nancy Beckner, Brian Beckner (Debbie), Bruce Beckner (Graham Savage) and Brady Beckner (Margaret).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the West Newton Angel Fund at West Newton Elementary, 7529 Mooresville Road, West Newton, Indiana 46183 where Chris was has served for decades as a dedicated educator and leader.
