He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Fisher and Charlotte Cox Fisher (McCord); his brother Steve L. Cox; and his brother-in-law John Hughes. He is survived by: his wife Patty Zachary Cox (Swope); his children, Teresa Bramwell (Darin), Danielle Cox Indianapolis (Brian Burton), Lisa Zachary and Steven Zachary-Venice (Ashley); his grandchildren, Cameron Tucker (Meghan), Grace Bramwell, Elijah Bramwell, Addison Zachary, Cali Zachary, Paxton Zachary, Kayleigh and Samantha; his great grandchildren, Leland Tucker and Evelyne Tucker; his siblings, Connie Hughes, Cecilia McClure (Al), Sandra Heady (Tom), Randy Cox, Ronnie Cox and Donnie Cox (Marva); and his sisters-in-law, Linda Gary (Neal), Tammy Short (Steve), Pamela Cooley and Kathy Brooks (Tony).
