He is survived by: his children, Gloria Whetstine Duke and David "Allen" Whetstine, Jr. (Amy); his grandchildren, Dalton Duke, Garrett Duke (Shay), Ben O'Herron and Elise O'Herron; his siblings, William "Bill" Whetstine (Jan), Susie Whetstine Stocklin and Cherie Whetstine Kean; and his brother-in-law Jack Kean.
