He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Kilgour and Effie Kilgour (Carpenter); his wife Liane Pile; and his siblings, Richard, Mary Norman and Helen Kilgour.
He is survived by: his children, Richard Kilgour (Laura), Gerald Kilgour (Renee), Barbara Payne (Steve) and Rachel Ray (Dave); and his grandchildren, Becca (Josh), Brandon, Steve, Jr. (Lisa), Shawn (Shae), Joshua, Kati (Joey), Sarah (Andrew), Brian (Kaila), Cora (James) and Kevin (Aysha). He is also survived by ten great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Flinn and Maguire Funeral Home (2898 N Morton St, Franklin, IN 46131). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Flinn & Maguire Funeral Home (2898 N Morton St, Franklin, IN 46131). A celebration of life will be held on Monday, October 19th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Husband Cemetery.
