It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gary L Libbey of Franklin, Indiana, who passed away on July 17, 2025, at the age of 59, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Gary leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Gary may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He is survived by: his children, Margaret Libbey (Ryan) and Lucas Libbey; his parents, Robert Libbey and Karen Libbey; his sister Tammy Colson (Jon) of South Bend; and his nephews, Jeremy Colson (Kaleigh) of Indianapolis and Jacob Colson of Edwardsburg, MI..
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Nature Center-St. Joseph Co (5117 S Ironwood Dr, South Bend, IN 46614).
