He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack P. Baker and Mary Lee Coffey Baker; his wife Linda Murray; his son Clint Baker; and his sister Paulette Baker.
He is survived by: his children, James Baker Jr. of Hope, Dale Baker (Shauna) of Seymour and Hannelore Baker (Alexis) of Hope; his grandchildren, James Alan Baker (Alisha) of Elizabethtown, Timothy Baker of Columbus, Savannah Mercer (Jaylin) of Seymour, Danika Fields of Seymour and Davina Mercer of Columbus; his great grandchildren, Eli, Sianna, Magnolia, Vada, Weston, Audrey, Trevor, Finley and Dahlia; his siblings, Sandy Prather (Steve) of Crothersville, Suzette Ferguson of Idaho and Gary Baker of Columbus; and his sister-in-law Hannelore Hutter. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
