He was predeceased by: his parents, Tot Compton and James S. Compton; and his brother Bill Dick Compton. He is survived by: his wife Martha Joan; his children, Steven (Debbie), Pamela (Mike), Beth Ann (Tom) and Tamara (David); Mark Parkey. He is also survived by four children, 16 grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
