He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Cushing and Elizabeth Cushing (Lawrence); his wife Barbara Cushing; and his siblings, Alan Cushing and Patty Cushing.
He is survived by: his children, James Cushing (Sherry), Paul Cushing (Mary) of St Albans, Jessica Francis (Gary) of Burlington and Josh Cushing (Erin) of Burlington; his sister Betty Cameron of Burlington; his grandchildren, Shelby Cushing, Roderick, Caitlin Cushing, Gary Michael III, Kelsey, Logan, Abigail Francis and Dean Cushing; his friends, David, Elaine Leo of Milton and Rosemary (Roger Rabideau) of Grand Isle; and his close friend Nascar.
