He is survived by: his children, Jesse Sparks (Katie Lunn), Mary McDaniel, Amber Rader (Jacob), April Sparks and Michelle Sparks; and his siblings, Darrell Sparks (Joyce), Kenneth Sparks (Debra), Paul Sparks, Crystal Van Wye (Jake) and Debra Godsey (Dave). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren.
