He was predeceased by: his parent Wava (Walker); and his sister Melissa Terrell. He is survived by: his wife Emma Lee Burton (Johnson); his children, Leslie "Les" Burton (Lois), Cherie Holland (John) and Richard "Rick" Burton (Tammy Jo); his grandchildren, Brittani, Stephani, Rayce, Stephen, Sam, Lona, Jenny, Jewell, Woody and Joseph; and his siblings, Gary Burton (Kathy) and Sandra Dudas (Steve). He is also survived by many great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
