It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Regis Pfifer of Franklin, Indiana, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on October 2, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Koltenback and Mary Ellen Koltenback (Switzer); her husband Thomas Marion Pfifer; her son William Charles (Pam) of Franklin, IN; and her siblings, Eileen and Robert.
She is survived by: her children, Craig Pfifer of San Diego, CA, Richard (Martha), Bob (Debbie) of Franklin, IN, Tom Pfifer of San Diego, CA, Nancy (Mike) of San Diego, CA and Mary Ellen (Michael); and her grandchildren, Amy, Ian, Nicole, John Thomas, Douglas, Anne Marie, Michael, Sarah Regis, Kelly, Grant, Joshua, Mary Jane, James, Clark and Sam. She is also survived by 32 great-grandchildren.
