She is survived by: her husband Charles Anderson Groce; her sister Roberta Spurlock of Connersville; her brothers-in-law, Howard Vaughn of Connersville and Dean Selby of Connersville; her daughters, Teresa DeHaven (Paul) of Laurel and Jeanna Nobbe (Roman) of Batesville, Indiana; her nephews, Charles Groce Jr. (Cheryl) of Brookville, Indiana. and David Groce of Brookville, Indiana.; her grandchildren, Clark DeHaven (Karissa), Rachel Schlemmer (Robert), Joseph DeHaven (Priscilla), Max DeHaven (Shelby), Roman Nobbe (Sarah), Bradley Nobbe, Charles Groce III (Whitney), Christopher Groce (Kelsey Solsberry), Dustin Groce (Deidre Klingman), Judy Coomer and Rebecca Fischer (Joshua); her siblings, Sadie Freytag of Roanoke, Linda Selby of Connersville and John Friend of Connersville; and her grandson Joshua Nobbe. She is also survived by 23 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Meyers Funeral Home (1150 IN-46, Batesville, IN 47006). A memorial service was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
