She was predeceased by: her husband Robert D. Sanders. She is survived by: her sons, Steven B. (Donna) of Springdale, AR and Michael D. (Tamara) of Franklin, IN; her grandchildren, Karla K. Wells of Franklin, IN, Kyle Wells (Ashley), Brittany Faulkner (Ricky), Maryn Sanders (Austin), Arla Cress (Tony) and Ellyn Tuggle (Wes); her great grandchildren, Laken Faulkner, Nolan Faulkner and Makena Cress; her grandchildren, Heather Mauch (Rick) and Kaylea Strain (JD); her great grandchildren, Gavin, Skyler (Kay), Realynn, Preston and Teagan; Diana Thompson.
Her last few years of teaching were devoted to Custer Baker Middle School and Franklin Community High School in Franklin, IN up until the pandemic of 2020.
