It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margaret Wheatley of Franklin, Indiana, born in Indianapolis, Indiana, who passed away on April 15, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Clarence Earl Gray, Sr. and Hildred Anna Gray (Lottick); her husband Norvel E. Wheatley; her son Steven Wheatley; and her siblings, Jessie Glover, Georgia Ayris, Earl Gray and Hazel McPhillips.

She is survived by : her children, Cheryl Fisher (Michael) of New Palestine and Kevin Wheatley (Becky) of Martinsville, Indiana; her grandchildren, Matt Wheatley (Amy), Jake Wheatley (Liz), Heather Neuner (Mike), Nick Fisher (Abbey), Abby Maddox (Nick), Ross Wheatley (Natalie) and Jordan Wheatley (Matt Curry); and her sister Shirley Cantrell. She is also survived by sixteen great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 23rd 2024 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Flinn & Maguire Funeral Home (2898 N Morton St, Franklin, IN 46131). A memorial service was held on Tuesday, April 23rd 2024 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location.
