He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Stephens and Dorothy Stephens (Parton); his former wife Joyce Stephens (Johnson); his brothers, Jimmy Stephens and Johnny Stephens; and his siblings-in-law, Nancy Stephens, Mike Newton and Ron Schelske.
He is survived by: his children, Tim Stephens and Alyssa Stephens; his grandson Brody Stephens; and his siblings, Ricky Stephens, Debra Newton, Donna Schelske and Darlena Coy (Rick). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
