He was predeceased by: his parents, Rugg Ross Carr and Opal Carr (Breedlove); his wife Mary Kathryn "Kay" Carr (Joyner); his daughter Janet Kay Carr; his sons-in-law, Terry Johnson and Thomas Kabrich; Robert Pauls, Richard Pauls, Tom Nelson and Jack Nelson.
He is survived by: his daughters, Barbara L. "Bobbi" Johnson of Fishers, IN and Sharalee J. "Sharry" Kabrich of Edinburgh, IN; and his grandchildren, Troy D. Kabrich (Jody Gray) of Clayton, NC, Thomas "Scott" Kabrich (Kimberly Cleveland) of Wolcottville, IN, Todd R. Kabrich (Jill Pliske) of Tomball, TX and Teri L. Kabrich of Decatur, IN. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
