He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Allen and Janet Allen (Allen); his son John; and his brothers, Dee Allen and Ronnie Allen.
He is survived by: his children, Christy (Dustin) of Franklin, Michael Watkins (Steph) of Columbus, Terry Flynn (Tony) of Franklin, Shane Allen, Chris Allen and Phillip Allen; his sister Pauletta Allen; and his granddaughter Keyshia Flynn. He is also survived by seventeen grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
