He is survived by: his children, Raymond Alan May (Alice), Robert May (Amy), Jesse May (Debbie) and Jon May (Renee); his brother Jay David May; and his grandchildren, Alyson Vaught, Chris May, Robert Gough, Michelle May, Kirsten Blair, Kylie May, Jonnie May, Jacob May and Dakota Quick. He is also survived by five great grandchildren.
