Raymond L. McCoy Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Raymond L. McCoy of Franklin, Indiana, who passed away on November 17, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Alice McCoy (Padgett) and Harry Lester McCoy; and his brothers, Donnie McCoy and C. Glen McCoy (Raymond) of Alzheimer's. He is survived by: his wife Johanna K. McCoy (Kinkade) of Franklin, IN; his sons, Clayton L. McCoy of Missoula, MT and John M. McCoy (Shannon) of Hendersonville, TN; his grandchild Finn McCoy; and his sibling's children, Glen E. McCoy (Debby), Caprice Jones and Kimberly Flynn (Ken).
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 22nd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM, on Sunday, November 23rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM and on Monday, December 1st 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM. A memorial service was held on Sunday, November 23rd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Wright Chapel at the Otterbein Franklin Seniorlife Community (1070 W Jefferson St, Franklin, IN 46131). A celebration of life was held on Monday, December 1st 2025 at 7:30 PM at the Presbyterian Church of Seffner (1906 Lenna Ave, Seffner, FL 33583). Raymond's dementia continued to progress, especially during the shutdown/pandemic.
