She was predeceased by: her parents, Lodge Oleniczak and Priscilla Oleniczak (Sadie); her spouse Casimer "Buzz" Nies; and her siblings, Hildegarde Palicki, Genevieve Gregg, Lorraine Wielgos and Casimer Oleniczak.
She is survived by: her children, Marcia Rayl (Ron) of Nineveh, IN and Michael Nies (Sandie) of Iron River, MI; her grandchildren, Kyle Rayl (Jenna) of Noblesville, IN, Kristin Rodman (Matthew) of Greenwood, IN, Kassandra Koll (Kevin) of Chicago, IL and Kathryn Braznichenko (Dimitry) of Chicago, IL; and her great grandchildren, Tynley, Jacoby Rayl, Brady, Zoey Rodman, Grace, Luke Koll, Maxim and Nicholas Braznichenko.
