He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford Edward Gunder and Marie Gunder (McClurg); his son Jeffrey Thomas Gunder; his granddaughter Freya Kate Gunder; his siblings, Clifford Gunder and Judy Casella; and his sisters-in-law, Janet Gunder, Shelly Gunder and Pam Dow.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara J. Jacobi; his children, Robert Gunder (Colleen Barrett) and Leslie Gunder; his grandchildren, Angel Ramirez, Caroline Schunk and JB Gray; his siblings, Carol Ringeisen (Ken), Edward Gunder (Jackie), Linda Cattaruzza (Lou), Marie Milack (Steve), Richie Gunder, Tommy Gunder (Eleanor) and Steven Gunder; and his brother-in-law Buddy Jacobi (Tamera).
