He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Byers and Charlotte Byers (Harper); and his sister Pauline Holman (Byers). He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Mae Byers (Legan); his son David Ross Byers of Franklin; and his niece Charlotte Farland (Holman) of Dublin.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Boys and Girls Club of Franklin, 101 Hurricane Street, Franklin, Indiana 46131.
