It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruby Marie Black of Franklin, Indiana, born in Warrior, Alabama, who passed away on August 4, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Grady Huffstutler and Ruby Huffstutler (Calvert); and her husband Donald Earl Black. She is survived by: her children, Donald Black, Jr. (Cynthia) of Greenwood, IN, Tonya Newkirk (Paul) of Franklin, IN, Jeff Black (Rhonda) of Franklin, IN and Cathy Campbell (Barry) of Franklin, IN; her grandchildren, Heather Murphy, Grant Black, Joe Black, Amanda Kruse and Katy Abel; her great grandchildren, Elijah, Lilah Abel, Josiah Martin, Corvin, Kendall Kruse, Brooklyne, Braelyne Black, Eoghan, Clara, Seamus, Macson and Oliver Murphy; and her brother Terry Huffstutler (Judy Warner) of Alabama.
