She was predeceased by: her parents, Hubert McGuire (H. A.) and Oble Ola McGuire (Felton); and her siblings, Kenny McGuire, B. A. McGuire, Barbara Fulford and Pearly "Sue" Sewell.
She is survived by: her husband James Stephen Asbell; her children, Jennifer Sue Dixon (Matthew) and Eric Asbell; her grandchildren, Jacob Ploughe and Etain Ploughe; and her brothers, Raymond McGuire and Charles McGuire. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
