We are sad to announce that on December 31, 2023, at the age of 74, Stella E. Smith of Franklin, Indiana, born in Pine Ridge, South Dakota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her former life partner James Bivens; and her siblings, Floyd and Sybil. She is survived by : her children, James A. Bivens Jr. (Maria) of Edinburgh, William A. Bivens (Kelly) of Ingalls, Eric A. (Sherry L. Bivens) and Christina R. (Jason L. Turner); and her siblings, Sandy, Rose, Jill, Roger Dean and Russell. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
