He was predeceased by: his sister Mabel Catherine Smith (Erskine). He is survived by: his wife Theresa McDermott-Erskine; his daughters, Jennifer Hynes of New York City, Emily George (Chris) of University Place and Jacqueline Erskine of Issaquah, Wash.; his stepchildren, Matthew Gaskin (Amy) of Fairland and Jennifer Gaskin (Erin) of Franklin; his sisters, Mary Lou Mulloy (Gaylen) of Graham, Theresa Zimmerman (James) of Renton, Mimi Jacobson (Michael) of Clermont, Fla., Marian Jane Gommermann (Richard) of Lecanto, Fla. and Margaret Campbell (James) of Newcastle, Wash.; his stepmother Maggie Erskine of Puyallup, Wash.; his grandchildren, Lucas (Camille), Alexis, Aaron, Evan, Wade and Fiona; and his stepgrandchildren, Christian, Anthony (Cheyenne), Brandon and GracLynn. He is also survived by two step great-granddaughters; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions should be made to the InterChurch Food Pantry in Franklin, St. Leo Food Connection in Tacoma or, as Tom would say, anywhere hungry people are fed.
