He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry W. Porter and Mildred Porter (Brewer); his daughter Jill Annette Porter; and his siblings, Joy Tabeling, Bill and Ed Porter.
He is survived by: his daughter Sherry Lynn Porter Popplewell; his granddaughter Sierra Lynn Popplewell Seacat; and his great grandchildren, Isaiah, Tierra and Mickey.
