He was predeceased by: his wife Patricia McClain Poe; his sons, Gregory (Douglas) and Christopher; his parents, Walter Sr. Poe and Pauline Fetherengill Poe; and his sister Alberta Satter.
He is survived by: his granddaughter Kelly Poe-Thompson (Clayton); his great grandchild Meadow; and his brothers, Stanley Poe (Carol), Daniel Poe (Eva) and Kenneth Poe (Brenda).
