With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Walter Ray Neldon of Franklin, Indiana, who passed away on September 27, 2025 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Neldon and Minnie Neldon (Fowler); his wife Octa; his son Walter William Neldon; his siblings, Lester Neldon, Ben Neldon, Doc Neldon, Herman Loyce Neldon and Lorece Arthur; and his half-sister Ester Joyce Neldon.
He is survived by: his children, Betty Scholl (Mike), Juanita Purdon (Richard), Kim Blair (Tony) and Steve Neldon (Tiffany). He is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Flinn and Maguire Funeral Home (2898 N Morton St, Franklin, IN 46131). A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
