He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Helen Kell McLain VanHook and Henry McLain; his wife Rose Mary Monroe; his children, Elizabeth McLain and Jacob McLain (Allie); his stepchildren, Gentry DeMent (Jen), Sarah Berry (Daniel) and Donny DeMent; his grandchildren, Jacklyn Blount, Gregory Davidson, Kade, Arahia, Kyle McLain, Abbey, Kate, Ella and Camden; his siblings, Sharon McClintock and Stephen McLain; his brother-in-law Denis Jarvinen (Michelle); his sister Kathleen McLain Jarvinen; his grandparents, John and Bea Kell; and his nephew Dwayne Daniels. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
