She was predeceased by: her parents, Chester Turpin and Eva Turpin (Bowersock); her husband Floyd "Bus" Kay; and her siblings, Loren Turpin, Alfred Turpin and Ivy Hubbard.
She is survived by: her daughters, Tamara Kay (Chris Crabtree), Deanna White (Jack) and Dorinda Hamilton (Chip); her grandchildren, Lisa Robinson (Jeremy), Melissa Christy (Billy), Evan White, Brandt White (Kayla), Zachary Brock (Emily), Dylan Brock and Eli Wilson (Brenna); and her siblings, Merle Turpin (Dee) and Elizabeth Young. She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Freedom United Methodist Church, Jolly Homemakers Home Economics Club, or Backpack Buddies, through the funeral home. Keep Bernadene Kay's legacy alive by donating to a charity in need.
