He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence J. Hazel and Leola A. Hazel (Woods). He is survived by: his wife Dana L. Hazel (Eagan); his sons, Scott Hazel (Amy) of Spencer, Michael Hazel of Freedom and Josh Downing (Sandra); and his uncles, Harold Hazel (Barbara) and Don Hazel (Carol). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Mt. Moriah Apostolic Church. A funeral service was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made to Mt. Moriah Apostolic Church with envelopes available at the church.
