David Arthur DeMeritt Obituary
We announce the death of David Arthur DeMeritt (Fremont, Indiana), who passed away on September 3, 2026, at the age of 74. David will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Lisle and Beulah Mae DeMeritt (Zeigler); and his siblings, Joyce, Darlene, Herbert, Bud, Jerry and Jim.
He is survived by: his wife Ella DeMeritt of Bronson; his sons, David DeMeritt (Torre) of Coldwater and Corey DeMeritt (Paula) of Coldwater; and his grandchildren, Abbigale DeMeritt, Issabella DeMeritt, Logan DeMeritt, Elizabeth Thorne and Adam Thorne. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Beams Funeral Home (200 Toledo St, Fremont, IN 46737). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
