He is survived by: his wife Nancy Bird of Fremont; his son Chris Bird (Julie) of Fremont; and his grandchildren, Kyle Bird (Jennica) of Fremont and Mack Otter (Sully) of Angola. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
