She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Asbury and Clara Asbury (Neal); her husband Charles C. Scott; her siblings, Mae, Beatrice and Raymond "Junior"; her stepdaughter Robin Scott; her great grandchild Jennavieve Ebersole; and her children-in-law, Debbie Lawson and Don Staffey.
She is survived by: her children, Phyllis Smith of West Unity, Brenda Branham (Emmerson) of Potosi, MO, Barb Staffey of Bryan and Rodger Lawson of West Unity; her stepdaughters, Drema Contreras of Napoleon, Kathy Courson (Ray), Debbie Spragg (Howard) and Tammy Amos; and her grandchildren, Tammy Sandy, Tracy Champ, Billie Miller (Brian), LeeAnn Saaf (Chris), Jeff Lawson (Karyn Swietzer), Michael Denton (Sandy Shirkey), Ginny Bleikamp (Dan), Michelle Wasson (Jake), Barbara Miller (Ryan Goebel), Aaron Branham (Brandy) and Renee Fackler (Josh). She is also survived by 33 great-grandchildren; and 18 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 9th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Marry Funeral Home - Fayette Chapel (412 W Main St, Fayette, OH 43521). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 10th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Marry Funeral Home - Fayette (412 W Main St, Fayette, OH 43521).
