Joan Harris Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joan Harris (Fulton, Indiana), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 4, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Gearhart and Edna Gearhart (McPeak); her spouse Thomas L. "Tom" Harris; and her siblings, Ethel Gearhart, Edith Gearhart, Ray Edward Gearhart, Opal Gearhart, Floyd Charles Gearhart, Leonard Otto Gearhart, Donald James Gearhart, Harold Walter Gearhart, Leo John Gearhart, Sharon E, Meenen, William Eugene Gearhart, Max Junior Gearhart, Dick K. Gearhart, Roger Gearhart, Larry Gearhart and Dorothy Alger.

She is survived by: her children, David Harris and Tammy Olinger (Mike); her grandchildren, David Harris, Josh Olinger, Britney Middleton (Kyle), Joel Harris and Jon Harris (Nicki Troyer); and her sister Ruth Miller. She is also survived by seven great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild.
