With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Connie Lea Babcock of Galveston, Indiana, who passed away on June 6, 2025 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lavon Amos and Dorothy E. Osborn (Sites); her husband Robert Joseph "Bob" Babcock; her sister Janet Osborn; her nephews, Steve Flick and Tony Edgerley; her great-nephew Dusty Campbell; and her siblings-in-law, Jerry Flick, Jim Fore and Barbara Dearinger (J. D.).
She is survived by: her stepfather Edgar "Punch" Osborn; her daughter Jill Babcock of Galveston; her sisters, Barbara Flick and Beverly Fore; and her nieces and nephews, Julie Greenwood (Glenn), Shari Scalf, Stacy Surber (Darren), Jeff Fore (Michele), Kristi Morgan, Scott Flick (Joyce), Kim Colburn (Gary) and Gary "Craig" Edgerley (Sandy).
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Galveston Cemetery (1000 E. Co. Rd. 1248 S. Galveston, Indiana 46932).
