Barbara Penland Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on October 2, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Barbara Penland of Garrett, Indiana. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Russell Gillingham and Zenus Gillingham (Reffner); her son Pat Penland; and her siblings, Dale, Chuck, Raymond, Dick, Mike, Velma, Phyllis, Mary Jane, Rose Marie, Bev, Billie and Wilma.

She is survived by: her daughter Beth; her son-in-law Jerry Singleton of Auburn; her daughters, Kim Penland (René DePew) of Leo and Gay Penland of Fort Wayne; her grandchildren, Justin (Samantha Penland), Natalie Singleton-Treharn (Jordan Treharn), Kelly Singleton (Logan Treaster) and Matthew Singleton (Shannon Williams); and her great grandchildren, Lily Penland and Evan Penland. She is also survived by Many nieces, nephews and other extended family.
