She was predeceased by : her parents, Chester Frick and Helen Frick (Schlosser); her husband Curtis Roose; her son Robert Roose; and her siblings, Alfred Eugene Frick and Patricia Stayer.

She is survived by : her daughter Debora; her children-in-law, Danny Lovins of Hazard, Kentucky. and Shirley Roose of Fort Wayne; her granddaughter Brandy Kyler of Garrett; her great grandchildren, Kaylee Kyler of Hazard and Kassidy Kyler of Garrett; and her sister-in-law Mary Frick of Auburn.
