He was predeceased by: his father Clifford E. Tanner, Sr.; his brother Carl E. Tanner; and his niece Kristi Tanner. He is survived by: his mother Elizabeth A. Tanner (Imbody) of Fort Wayne; his wife Julie Tanner of Garrett; his children, Stephanie Tanner of Fort Wayne, Sarah Tanner of Fort Wayne, Alexandra Tanner of Fort Wayne, Jeff Landis (Nicole) of Fort Wayne, Dustin LaMartz of Kendallville and Dylan LaMartz of Kendallville; and his siblings, Pamela S. Burget (Daniel) of Avilla, Dean A. Tanner, Sr. (Angelina) of Avilla, Patrick C. Tanner (Mischelle) of Churubusco and Kevin D. Tanner (Scheryl) of Fort Wayne. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Thursday, July 24th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Independent Full Gospel Church (1302 S Gonser Ave, Ashley, IN 46705). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
