He was predeceased by: his parents, Telford Tjon and Evelyn Tjon (McGrath); his daughter Annette Tjon Buschman; and his brothers, Robert Tjon, James Tjon, Thomas Tjon and Jerome Tjon.
He is survived by: his wife Gail Tjon of Garrett; his son Michael Tjon of Avilla; his daughter-in-law Holley Askin of Hartselle, Alabama.; his grandchildren, Abby Tjon, Evan Buschman and Ava Tjon; his sister Jeanette; his brother-in-law Roger Kenner of Leeds; his sister Joanne; and his brother-in-law Roger Drevlow of Bismarck. He is also survived by Many nieces, nephews and other extended family.
Memorial donations may be given in memory of David to the Disabled American Veterans.
